"Gary Gray's remarks show the federal ALP are clearly pro-Coal Seam Gas. Does Victorian Labor and Daniel Andrews feel the same?" said Ellen Sandell, Greens spokesperson for Energy.

"Gary Gray and federal Labor are determined to ignore the community's protests and the massive risks to health and the environment, and push ahead for short term profits" said Ms Sandell. "The Andrews Government needs to be clear with Victorians - do they support CSG?"

"CSG has massive risks for the environment and for human health, that are proven and understood. We don't need this dangerous and destructive industry in Victoria" she said.
"The community have made their objections loud and clear - the Andrews Government should make it clear they respect that, and tell their federal Labor colleagues to back off. We need a permanent ban on CSG in Victoria" said Ms Sandell.
