MOVE THE NEW HOBSONS ROAD TOWER

Take Action

Kensington is home to a wonderful, tight-knit community, but a new transmission tower being built on Hobsons Road could needlessly impact the liveability of our homes and local parkland.

The new tower, currently under construction as part of the Metro Tunnel Project, is significantly larger than the previous tower.

We support the Metro Tunnel Project, but this new transmission tower will dominate views from local backyards and parkland. Our community deserves a say in its size and location.

We call on the Melbourne Metro Rail Authority and contractor AusNet to work with local residents to minimise the impact of this new tower on our community.
